Looking back on 2022, looking ahead to 2023

Another year has almost gone by. The turn of the year is always a good moment to pause for a while and look back.

Guy and I also get to look back on a very eventful year. Right at the start of January we ran our cross-country skiing camp in Davos. With beautiful deep-winter conditions and highly motivated participants, it was a very successful camp and a perfect start to the season.

The whole winter brought perfect cross-country skiing conditions, and we gave various private lessons, though running training was not neglected either. More and more athletes are discovering the beauty of winter running too.

Winter went by far too fast, and soon it was time to plan the summer and trail season. In summer too, we ran 2 trail camps and offered various one to one coaching sessions. We also launched #letstrail together with Graubünden Trailrun (trail seminars across the whole canton of Graubünden, for beginners and returners). This shows us clearly that trail running is a sport in demand, and that runners are also becoming aware of how much technique matters in trail running. A lot of work goes into uphill and downhill technique, but classic running drills are just as much part of the foundation of a good trail runner.

Thanks to the camps and the one to one coaching, we got to pass on our knowledge and experience to many interested participants again, which always gives us a great deal of joy.

With that in mind, we would like to thank all our participants for your commitment and your trust.
